The Photographer - Vickie Belt

I photograph Weddings as a very personal and shared experience. On this special day, everything has to be a beautiful and loving experience. I know my way around a camera and want to spend time getting to know you so that I learn what your best smile looks like. When we are friends, you always show your best side! I have an artistic eye and might request a non traditional pose or two if you are adventuresome. I am also an experienced Digital Artist well versed in Photoshop. This allows us to be even more creative. Good thing you waited until now to find Mr. Right! I have been in the photographic industry for over 20 years and served as the digital imaging specialist at Warehouse Photographic . As an early adopter of this technology, I developed training programs aimed at a educational, corporate and defense contractor client base to facilitate conversion to digital cameras and the use of Adobe Photoshop. I can work on both PC and Mac platforms and I am familiar with digital capture; scanning, photography, and output including printing and web application. Throughout the years, many folks have come to me requesting Wedding Photography. I have experience with the small home wedding as well as the Formal Church Wedding. Building good rapport with my client has always been the key to getting the results I want from my camera. Experience in customer service and a guaranteed product has taught me how to build a loyal following.

Seeing a demand, due to increasing consumer interest in digital photography, for flexible and extensive digital camera training in the Dallas area, I created a Digital Learning Center. www.digitaldooda.com embraces an unpretentious, down to earh approach in teaching that is friendly, informal and most of all, fun!. Many new Wedding Photographers have been trained in this facility.

As an educator, I was an adjunct faculty member for three years at Brookhaven Community College in Dallas. I developed a Digital Imaging course utilizing digital cameras, scanners and printers along with Adobe Photoshop software.

I served on the DACOM board for developing the multi-media curriculum at Collin County Community College and on the Advisory Board at Eastfield Community College.

Working with all age levels, in the summer of 2006, I developed and implemented a Youth Digital Camera Training Program at Southern Methodist University's Legacy Campus, utilizing digital cameras and Adobe Photoshop.
